Welcome to Bag'O' Nails
Bag O' Nails latest CD "Nailed Live at St Andrews Hotel" has been described as "...an absolute scorcher!" by Steve Passiouras, presenter of Fret Net on PBSFM.
Bag O' Nails is a Blues/Rock power trio originating from Melbourne Australia and is named after the 60’s London club which was frequented by greats such as Hendrix, Clapton, Page and The Beatles. It was also where Paul McCartney met his future wife Linda.
They have been wowing audiences with their ballsy, riff driven Blues/Rock since 2004. Their live performances are known for their energy and excitement which they have brought to their debut recording “Attitude Blues”.
Their cover of “Little Red Riding Hood” and original “Get Nailed” are audience favourites - both have become a signature of their unique blues rock offering.
Darrly Harrison of the St Andrews Hotel had this to say about the band.
"BAG O’ NAILS (Trevor, John & John) stoked us with their blues rock renditions, performed brilliantly, their way."
Guitarist/Vocalist Trevor Murray combines his respect for the Blues and his love for Rock, to give the audience a passionate performance. Lord Hampton (John Hampton) on bass and Johnny Ouzo (John Veltman) on the drums create a wall of sound reminiscent of many great power trios of the past.
If you like your Blues doused in downright dirty Rock n' Roll, as you do! You won't want to miss Bag O' Nails.
Listen to Helen Jennings (PBSFM Melbourne) interview Trevor as they discuss the up coming "Nailed Live At St Andrews" CD Launch.
She also plays a couple of tracks off the Album.
